Vehicle Description This 1964 Ford Fairlane is a two-door sedan model that was built as a tribute to the factory Thunderbolt experimental drag race cars produced by Ford for the 1964 model year.
The car is finished in white over beige vinyl upholstery and powered by a 427ci side-oiler V8 paired with a Ford C6 three-speed automatic transmission.
Features include a fiberglass hood, an alloy front bumper, a boxed 9 rear end, and Motor Wheel magnesium and aluminum wheels wearing Goodyear drag slicks.
Currently it sits om Steel wheels and I have the other set of wheels and tires.
Originally finished in Silver Smoke Gray (K), the car has been repainted in white.
Exterior features include a fiberglass hood secured by pins, a Lexan rear window, alloy front bumper, and air intake ducts in place of the high beams.
The car features Motor Wheel Fly magnesium wheels up front and aluminum wheels out back that are mounted with Goodyear Eagle drag tires with rear slicks.
Braking is through drums at all four corners.
An adjustable steering box has been installed.
The cabin houses low-back bucket seats trimmed in beige vinyl with a matching rear bench, tri-tone door panels, a brown dashboard, and black rubber-lined floors.
